Internship Opportunities

Event Research Intern – The Research Intern will assist with researching venues, vendors and products specific to our client’s requests. The locations could include locations abroad and even locations that we are already affiliated with. The intern will find the specific locations, vendors and products via the internet that match the client’s event and submit them to the event planner for further review. The intern may need to be able to explain why the selected vendors meet the client’s request. The incumbent will need to articulate well, be very internet savvy, detailed orientated and have an interest in event planning and research. The intern will be assisted and taught through the process as needed but should be able to work independently.  (posting 12/06)

Technical & Database Design Intern – The Database Intern will need to have a technical knowledge of creating & designing newsletter templates for emails and print as well as creating a workable client relationship management database that will link our travel and event information. The incumbent will need to be very creative, familiar with Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel, detailed orientated and have an interest in web-design and/or database design. The intern will be assisted and taught through the process as needed but should be able to work independently. (posting 12/06)

Sales and Business Writing Intern – The Sales and Business Writing Intern will need to draft letters for prospective event and travel clients, lead follow-up, resume responses, client thank you letters, newsletters, event proposals and other types of letters as needed. In addition, the intern may be asked to assist with verbiage for wedding and event invitations. The Sales and Business Writer may speak with clients via phone from time to time. The intern must write very well, be creative, articulate, detail oriented and familiar with Microsoft Office. The intern should have an interest in event planning, sales and writing. The intern will be assisted and taught through the process as needed but should be able to work independently. (posting 12/06)
